OPIC is currently seeking applicants to serve as public members of the governing committee for the Texas Automobile Insurance Plan Association (TAIPA).

TAIPA provides auto insurance to qualifying Texans in order to help them comply with the requirements of the Texas Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Act.

TAIPA Governing Committee public members represent the consumer’s view and make decisions regarding insurance rates and related costs as well as public policy issues. TAIPA’s Governing Committee has 5 public members.
